  1. Junior varsity is usually for freshmen and sophomores and Varsity is for juniors and seniors.  But sometimes if your really good even if you are younger you can make varsity.  I was a freshmen on varsity last year.  But junior varsity is still a step up from modified. And you have to try out for both usually

  2. JV is for underclass men and people who are not as good as the Varsity players. Varsity is for the upper-class men and the best players in the school.

  3. well JV is for people who arnt good enough for V. so JV is the noobs and V is for Pros.

  4. well at my school junior varsity is only for 6th-10th grade and in volleyball junior varsity plays best 2 out of 3 and varsity plays best 3 out of 5

idk about other people's school though

  5. Varsity plays harder team and are usually upperclassmen while JV is an advanced freshman team that plays harder teams, but is not as good as varsity

  6. jv is like your a freshmen wanting to become a varsity so you play at jv for a year when your yet not still ready for varsity ..  or if your not good enough for varsity  you get into jv

  7. well varsity is way better and means you actually have skill and ppl want to watch ur games JV however means your still in training
