  1. you dont need a brain to play rugby

  2. i think he is asking the diff between rugby and aussie rules footy,

not what most of the world regards as football aka "soccer" here in the U S of A

  3. Rugby has an oval shaped ball, handled by the hands and can be kicked (usually into the air, lol). The ball can only be passed backwards and must rely on players running the ball or kicks ro move forward. It is ok to tackle a player with the ball, in fact, it's actually good. Points are scored by grounding the ball in the try area (worth 5 points in union, 4 points in league), called a try. This can then be converted by kicking the ball through the posts (3 points in union, 2 in league). It's 15 men a side in union and 13 for league.

Football is the round ball code. The ball can't be touched with the hands, except for the goal keeper who defends the goals. Points are scored by kicking the ball into the goals, which are generally nets (1 point). You can't touch a player with the ball (technically), but you can get the ball off the player if you haven't touched him. It's 11 a side, and the game goes for 90 minutes (as opposed to Rugby's 80 minutes). Both games are divided into halves.

  4. Rugby has an oval shaped ball that can be kicked and passed.  You tackle the player running with the ball.

Football is with a round ball which everybody kicks.  The goalkeeper can handle the ball.

    Rugby, you score tries

    Football, you score goals
