  1. motion sickness it can happen when on rides at the park and in the car.. or its called sea sickness.

  2. You are thinking of Scurvy. This is caused by a vitamin C deficiency. The main cause was malnutrition. In the old days saylors would bring grapefruits on the boats the help "cure" the disease. The symptoms can include:

        * Dark purplish spots on skin, especially legs.

        * Spongy gums, often leading to tooth loss.

        * Bleeding from all mucous membranes.

        * Pallor

        * Bleeding gums.

        * Sunken eyes

        * Opening of healed scars and separation of knitted bone fractures.

        * Nosebleeds

    Sea sickness refers to motion sickness while on a boat and is caused by the repetitive up and down movements of the boat. There are OTC remedies for sea sickness and may be curbed by fixating on the horizon while on a boat.
