What is the disorder known as r.a.d?

do you know somebody with this disorder? nobody seems to know much about it.

RAD is listed in the DSM IV diagnostic manual...it is known by psychologists and social workers.  Social workers see it alot in children, unfortunately.

It was described decades ago in children in orphanages, but RAD was not the term used.  John Bowlby wrote about attachment and disorders....with his monkey studies, then observations of children.
