What is the distance between Charles De Gaulle Airport to ORLY?Landing at De Gaulle- departing from ORLY?

I need to know the distance between the two airport. I am landing at Charles De Gaulle and I have to take flight from ORLY in the same day in about 2-3 hours later.

I'm a former Flight Attendant, and I used to be based at Charles de Gaulle Airport and lived in Paris. I used to fly a lot out of Orly to visit my then-boyfriend (now husband).

I can't actually tell you the distance but count on about an hour for travel time. You're fine but keep moving.

I don't suggest a cab. It's so expensive and they get stuck in traffic a lot. You may also have communication and availability issues.

You can take the RER but you have to change from the B to the C lines. The other headache is getting tickets, which can be a headache at CDG. It can also be dodgy security-wise. A couple of coworkers were relieved of their passports on the RER and a friends' husband of his wallet.

I recommend the Air France bus. You can pick it up right at the curb and it will take you directly to Orly without stopping. It's only marginally more expensive than the RER without all the ticket-buying headaches. You can either buy it at the kiosk (if one is there) or on board. Security is better since everyone is going directly to Orly too.

They don't get stuck in traffic because they ply this route all the time and if there's a backup somewhere, they radio the other drivers to avoid it. They have all sorts of alternate routes to take.
