What is the distance between Kandivali (East) and Andheri (East)?

I am planning to take a residential apt at Kandivali (E) and my office is at Andheri (E). Can I cover the distance by motorcycle?. Is the township at Kandivali (E) good? Please guide. Thanks.

Kandivli/Borivli: Distinct suburbs after Malad mainly populated by   Gujaratis. There is a lot of development in these areas due to Charkop and Lokhandawala projects. Borivali is the starting station for Western Railway for Mumbai octroi limits. However trains go up to Virar in Thane District. The Navratri festival is most popular here. Indraprashta complex at Borivali is a famous shopping mall. Ferry station for Gorai Beach and famous Esselworld/Waterworld resorts.(Km-35/mile-21)

It depends where exactly in Kandivili (East) you are staying and where exactly in Andheri (East) you want to go,  Anyway it will be around 15 kilometres and you can conveniently travel by Bike through Western Express Highway.
