Vashi-Kurla is about 8-9 kilometers and the train takes about 17-23 minutes to cover the distance. Yes, it is fully safe for women than many aprts of Mumbai!

1) Vashi to Kurla is 30 minutes by train...Its about 15 KMS...

2) Vashi is much better than what it was about a decade back,,,the public transportation is very good although i wouldnt recommend starying alone in areas mlike palm beach during late nights!! mostly because its an accident prone zone!!

about 10 km. 20 minutes journey. it is safer for women if you dont go tosparsely populated areas that after dark.
