  1. hope this will help.

    1. the spelling (joke)

    2. a college is school of a predetermined study of knowledge. for example is college of business administration, that college will be more likely to teach about business. also it is the level of education.

    3. a university holds a number of colleges and even lower and higher level of education. a university also determines the size of the campus and its popularity. a school may be called a university if it is operating for a long period of time...

well this is all i can say, hope this will help you a little...

  2. usually, but not all the time, university means that the institution has more than one location while college means there is only one campus

  3. In the US, the terms are used interchangeably; there is practically no difference. In my country, colleges are not authorised to award degrees, since only universities are empowered to confer degrees. They have to be affiliated with the local university which awards the degrees for study/coursework undertaken at a college. In India, colleges are much smaller than universities, and have only limited funding and resources.
