  1. it is 18

  2. You need to be 18, and 16 for beer and cider to be served in pub and to buy alcohol en store. That's what the law say but it's less strict than in UK or USA. I think there is no legal age to drink at home, it's depend on the family

  3. 18 years old. And you can still smoke in the pubs! Anyway until next year.

  4. there really isnt any legal drinking age. the culture over there is much different than the us. even the uk which is much stricter about  their 18legal age to drink. the french are much more relaxed about it (unless you are at a club). i took my goddaughter over there when she was 15/16 in france she got served all the time no one ever questioned it nor asked me if she was allowed to drink. in lille her penpals ditched school and we met them at a local pub where we found them all eating lunch beer and wine in hand. these kids were all 13-17 yrs of age sitting in a local pub/deli all being served alcohol and no one (other than us crazy americans) thought anything about it.

  5. I have always been told that the drinking age in the majority of countries on continental Europe is 16! and France is one of these countries.

  6. The legal drinking age in France is 18

  7. Whatever it is, do not wander around Paris (or any other city) drunk.

  8. Are you simply asking if you will be able to drink when in France?

The answer is YES... They let ANYONE buy alcohol from stores.

Now, if you re thinking of going in a 'bar' (they call them disco over there or club, a bar or 'pmu' is for older neighbor crowd), 16 is the minimum.

  9. 16 but nobody will ever ask you your ID...

  10. I think it is 18

  11. In Europe it is 18.
