and what does it help with, because i have osgood slaughters disease and it supposibly can help with it

  1. Hi Brett,

    Oscon is a finely balanced mix of Selenium and brewers yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae).

    This turns out to be a potent mix of vitamins A,C and E(RRR-A-Tocopherol)

    It seems that from clinical trials (maybe somewhat limited in size). That relief from excessive bone growth(knees ,elbows,and heel) can be altered favourably.

    However,a GP would normally precribe an NSAID ( Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory) such as ibuprofen or diclofenac sodium.

    If you have a propensity for gastric problems though, he may suggest Oscon as an alternative,although I think the evidence for its efficacy is lacking.
