  1. Hello, I just helped out someone with school related matters recently - just visit  http://doiop.com/bestonlinecolleges it will help you on courses. I found helpful information and tips on numerous courses it helped me alot too. Many distance learning programs allow you to work and go to school

  2. You will need a bachelor's degree (4 years)

then a Medical degree or a degree is Osteopathic medicine (4 years)

Internship/Residency - may be 4-8 years depending on the specialty you wish to pursue

  3. 4 years for your undergraduate college degree.

    4 years of medical school.

For your residency, the minimum is 3 years for a family doctor or pediatrician, longer for specialties.

This is if you get through college and medical school in 4 years...lots of people take longer.

  4. What kind of doctor do you want to become? I'm assuming you just want to get a PhD but there are also other doctorate degrees which are doctor of sciences, letters, engineering, philosophy, etc.

If you are starting from a bachelors, it's estimated at four years. Then you move onto a master which is estimated at two years or with a thesis, about three years. From then, you work into your docorate which can take up to four years. So to get your degree as one is possibly up to ten years. Then to intern, depending on hospital and testing usually would take a year and some change so by the time you are actually a resident which takes another year or two until you are a practicing doctor.

  5. that is complex question, and has many variables, but typically 4-5 years for a bachelors of sciences, 4 years medical school (provided your accepted based on MCAT scores and prerequisite requirements) then you go through what is called a internship on either your 3rd or 4th year of medical school, sometimes after completion of medical school. Next you have a residency 2-5 years this is your final training program length is defendant on your hospital, specialty, and medical program. Then you have to get your board certification. So, in short, how many years you spend in school/training is defendant on your field and area of specialty and how long it takes you to complete your prerequisites.
