  1. you can bring back what you like as long as its for personal use

  2. there is no duty free as they are in the EU. you can only get duty free items if you leave the EU.

  3. There is no Duty Free within Europe.  So long as Customs accept that items are for personal use and you don't bring so much that they think you are selling, you are OK.

Generally, tobacco and alcohol are cheaper everywhere except the UK.

  4. its not as cheap as it used to be so the allowence is high.  Place like the canaries are still dirt cheap, so there allowence is really low

  5. think its 3000

  6. its nothing to do with the price.

Fuind out if the f**s you bring back are EU duty paid, if so, then you can bring back quite a lot.

If they are EU duty free, then it is only 200.

    Check before you fly home.

  7. There is no duty free allowance on intra EU movements

Theoretically, according to EU law, there is no limit on what you bring back providing you have bought thise goods tax & duty paid.

Practically "Grapsing Gordon" and his muckers in the Revenue apply defacto limits, over which they fell they have the right to impose taxes.

    These limits are:-

3200 cigarettes, 200 cigars, 400 cigarillos, 3kg tobacco, 110 litres of beer, 90 litres of wine, 10 litres of spirits, 20 litres of fortified wine (such as port or sherry).

Supposedly providing you can demonstrate (proove) to the revenue that all the goods you are bringing in are for you personal consumption there should not be a problem

  8. cigarettes are about £2 a packet and if you but them duty paid in majorca you can bring as many as you like back for your own personla use, but customs think that any more than 3200 mean you are bringing in cigarettes for other people and you will need to prove thay are for your own use
