What is the duty of a U.S. citizen? What does the constituion demand of the people?

  1. The US Constitution make no demands of American citizens.  However, Title 10, an adjunct to the Constitution, requires all US citizens and all residents of the US to abide by the laws of both the federal government and the state governments.

    Since the US Constitution was ratified by US Citizens and is amended by US citizens elected by the US citizens, then we determine what our duty may be in regard to our laws.


  2. The constitution was designed to keep government out of people's lives and give the  people freedom to pursue prosperity and live free without infringing the freedom of others.  THAT is all the constitution and our government was meant to do.  Lately people think they are "entitled" to have the government take from the prosperous and give them things, like food, housing and healthcare.  This is far from the original intent ... and an abuse of power by government.
