Do you mean you are a Canadian and bought a tent trailer in the US?  If so, you will have to pay duty on it if its value is greater than your allowable amount - you will have to pay duty on any amount over what you are allowed.  Count on paying about an additional 15% to 20% in duty.  Here is a link to the Canadian Border Services Agency which may be of some help.
