What is the earliest age someone recommends for a child to go on a Disney Cruise???

My son is almost 3....is that too young???

they have a lot to do on the cruise ship for kids of all ages. I took my little brother when he was 6 and he had a blast!  they have separate pools too for the younger kids.

I feel like if your child can walk, talk, and recognize the things going on to where you know he is having fun that would be the time to go. It's sort of like around Christmas time if you buy your child a lot of toys when they are only a month-4 months old they do not know exactly what to do with them and then they do not kno how to unwrap the gifts (which is usually the best part for those who can talk and actually show their excitement). So I think it is your judgement because you do not want to feel like they are not having fun and then your money/trip may feel wasted

I have a five year old sister and we're not taking her on the cruise because once you fall in, chances are slim your coming back. We decided that she's to small and she may not realize what could happen if you lean over or through the rails.

No that's just right! We took our 3 kids last year and our youngest was 2. Our 2 oldest absolutely LOVED their kids clubs- we couldn't even get them out of the place! Our 2 year old had a blast at Flounder's Reef Nursery. The only thing about it is you have to make reservations for the nursery and there is an added fee for the services- I think its like $6 per hour. If he is actually 3 and totally potty trained then he can go to the Oceaneer Club which is for ages 3-7. There is so much for the little ones to do and see. The pools are nice and the musical shows will keep his attention the whole time! Plus there are princesses to meet as well as other characters and lots of yummy foods! Have you gone on disneycruise.com yet? If not, you can go on there and request their free DVD. I would do that so you can see for yourself just how fun a Disney Cruise is! We're going again this year!!!
