  1. You can expel the baby from your body any time. You can expel the baby at only a couple weeks pregnant. Usually after 24 weeks the baby has a chance to survive, but I believe there was a baby born at 22 weeks who made it.

  2. My friend had her little boy at 6 months he is still in the hospital and weighed 2lbs 11oz.s he has been there for 2 months and weighs 5lbs now

  3. You can give birth at anytime.  The baby's survival rate though is best after 32 weeks.

  4. Unclear question.

    Possible interpretations:

1.A pregnancy can occur in girls as early as age 9.  You can google it.... Youngest girl+ live birth or something similar.

    2. The earliest "birth" can be a miscarriage of several days to 5 months or so..... the foetus never survives.

    3. The earliest a child can be born and survive varies---premature (premies) have tons of developmental problems, and though they survive, they often have delayed learning in school are mentally retarded, or die within a week or so.   7 month gestations + or -  are tricky. The longer toward term a baby is in the "cooker" the better its chances of a normal childhood, and adult hood.

State institutions are filled with "premie"  'children' called "fragile" that just barely qualify as human.  They never learn, never speak, never walk, can't feed themselves,  are forever in diapers,  eyes never focus, recognize no one, yet are conscious, but are not even aware that they themselves  even exist.

One big one is in California, Lanterman State Hospital... google it. And others.... State Hospitals for the developmentally delayed  or something similar.

  5. giving birth is a general statement that just means releasing the baby or embryo from you womb that can mean a vaginal miscarriage

  6. Any time you go into labor before 37 weeks your doctor will most likely try to stop it by giving you a shot. The earliest I've ever heard of was 22 weeks but that is extremely rare.

  7. The earliest a woman has ever given birth and the baby survived was 21 weeks 6 days. 24 weeks is considered viability - 50% chance of survival but there are often severe complications. Viability increases dramatically after 24 weeks but before 32 the baby is considered extremely premature.

  8. Like poppy said, the earliest birth of a baby that surrived being born preamturely  was 21 wks. 6 days. I think 26 wks. is the actual starting point and the baby has a 50% chance of living.

With mulitples you are most likely to give birth early, for example Kate Gosselin gave birth to her twins at 35+3 weeks and her sextuplets at 26 wks. Both sets of multiples are healthy today, although it was VERY risky with the sextuplets.

So you can give birth from 21 wks.-38 wks.(the baby can be late!).

    I hope this helps!

  9. The chances are slim but at baby  that is 24 weeks gestation can make it but may have lots of health problems.  I had a cousin that was born that early and after spending weeks in the NICU he was finally brought home, but was blind.  He is a smart, normal person, just is blind and always rocks back and forth.  Anywhere from 38 weeks and up is considered normal birth time and not premature.

  10. all 3 of mine were born at about 8 in the morning, lol. I personally wouldn't want to go anyway before 37 or 28 weeks, before then there can be too many complications such as the lungs not being mature enough.

  11. I have heard of people giving birth at 22 weeks, and the baby surviving.  It is possible, but very risky!!
