the ultrasound tech said i am only 4 weeks, i dont believe her and i think she is wrong #1 because we saw the heart beat

#2 it was at a free christian clinic

#3 i went to the DR and my HCG levels correspond with pregnancy 8-12 weeks along.

#4 it just makes more sense for me to be 8 weeks pregnant....

so i want to know what is the earliest you heard your babies heart beat!??

  1. At 8-12 weeks the baby is triple that size.

You really can't tell a lot by HCG levels either, as for the heartbeat it can be detected by a vaginal ultrasound at 5/6 weeks.

    Cograts :)

  2. I heard both of mine at 8 weeks!

  3. Looks like you are only about 4-5 weeks. I had an ultrasound then and we could SEE the heartbeat. At 8 weeks there is an actual blobby baby in there :) A lot bigger than your babies pic :)  Congrats either way!!

  4. Yup your baby is not eight weeks, your baby is more like four to five  weeks. I saw my babies heart beat at 7 weeks, b/c that is when i went in for my ultrasound and my b aby looked bigger than yours.

  5. i would definitely go to another doctor because from what I have been told is that your lucky to even see anything more then the yolk sack at 5 weeks. I was 7 weeks also when they could hear mine.

  6. Well how long ago did you have s*x?

  7. For me I was about 7 weeks along.

  8. well it was when i was around 6 or 8 weeks. they go by the measurements of the baby to see how far along you are or she could have gone by your last period. i myself have found out that those people really dont know what they are doing i called up a free clinic once to ask them if they do iud removals and no one in the office new what it was.it is birth control that is what they are there for.

  9. I can tell you with fairly confidently that baby is not 8 weeks. I had an ultrasound at 8w4d and the baby was MUCH bigger and more defined - I heard it then. You are right, at 4 weeks you couldn't see a heartbeat but at 5 1/2 weeks you can.

HCG won't tell you how pregnant you are either.

This is my baby at 8w4d.
