My husband and I have two wonderful little boys. We are not ungrateful for the two precious children we have, but would love to have a third. We have 'tried' for 5 years for a third. We are beginning to look into other options and adoption is a definite possibility.

  1. Adopting from foster care is the cheapest way (free or nearly free). Check it out. You can look for children whose parents have already had their rights terminated (no risk of losing the child back to their biological home that way), or you can do true foster-to-adopt. If you only look at children whose parents have already had their rights terminated, they will most likely be older children. This can be a plus, though--there are so many people who want to adopt babies and toddlers... it is the older children who TRULY need homes. But yes, if you really want a baby or toddler, you can do fost-adopt, too.

  2. I would consider foster care adoption or look into different kind of programs that help pay for adoptions, I have seen posts here giving details and links for things like employer bonuses, grants, fundraising help and things like this.

  3. Through your local children's welfare. Foster to adoption is the cheapest way.

  4. Please don't look for the cheapest and easiest way to adopt. Your potential child and his birthmother should be your first priority. Not Money. If money is your main concern then I would advise you to be happy with the children you have. My adopted son's birthmother is a wonderful lady and I would never want somebody like her to run into people who only care about the cost of adopting, and not her wellbeing. Their is so much she deserves and needs in this very hard time, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Many of these needs require a hefty sum of money. If you can't meet these needs then you shouldn't adopt.

The best thing you can do that does not cost money is to go through the foster care system.

  5. Take in Foster children.  You are already pass this okay test.

then you get a child and have it for a while and they say would you like to adopt.  My niece did that.  She was going to take in foster children to help out hearing these children needed homes.  Not with the idea of adopting.

but after  falling in love with the child and the worker said, she is going up for adoption what do you think?  So now she has 3 children by adoption.  Who were once foster children.

  6. Foster or foster to adopt

  7. The cheapest way to adopt is through the foster care system. or  Fos to adopt program.  Grant it your more likely to get a child that’s at least 3 or 4 if not older. But you can still get young toddlers even babies.

  8. adopt children
