What is the easiest instument to learn to play?

Not including things like drums, triangles...Something you can play a real song on.

I would say a clarinet I was going 2 play it so I wouldn't have 2 keep my arms up but now I play the viola

The Best bet is a Kazoo. The only thing you have to know is about how much are you realese  into it. Different wind pressure variants the notes.

If you're gifted, a six string guitar is your best bet.

Dulcimer is not too difficult.

I would say guitar or piano. Neither of these insturments require a change in embochure (mouth position) because they don't use the mouth. Furthermore, both piano and guitar are great for solo playing.

I will say though, piano and guitar...easy to learn, hard to master.
