I'm starting school soon and their are a lot of things I need to buy and I was thinking of getting some of the money from my old things. I have loads of books, shoes, bags, dance wear, binders that have hardly been used and I want to sell them except that I don't know how. Any help would be great.

  1. if you have a lot of things for sale, it would prolly be easier to just have a yard sale, take a free ad out in your local paper, put a few flyers out, neon signs on the street, and have fun! People are always out looking for a bargin( no matter the price of gas) or you might try a local thrift shop to see if they buy things in lots from people. good luck.

  2. The best way i found was Ebay.com and Craigslist.com

And In your area there might be a store that does the ebay selling for you.

  3. If you just want to get rid of the stuff, a yard sale or flea market might be best. If you want to take the time to describe each item, take pictures, go online and pay to have each on in a separate auction, you can make more money, but will require more time and effort.

These may help to give you an idea of what is involved with online auctions like ebay:

  4. i'd go with ebay or craigslist because people are more likely to buy things off the internet than driving around looking at yard/garage sales. we use craigslist.com more because everyone looks at it and ebay also works.

  5. Well, I guess it dpends.  Sometimes it's easiest to sell your stuff in a yard sale because it is convenient- in many ways.  However, if you choose to sell online, my favorite place is http://www.stumblehere.com- it's a free classified ads website.  Good luck :)

  6. Ebay is the best way to go! Especially if your stuff is gently used. It's amazing how much people will pay for used stuff on ebay. Almost as much as you paid for it, do an auction. Also, people at yardsales are looking for deals, not to pay alot for some kids used stuff. Ebay will! Also, not many people no about Craigs list, so go with ebay!
