What is the easiest way (other than taxi) to get from Heuston station to the US Embassy in Dublin Ireland?

On Google maps it looks kinda far, is taxi the easiest option?

  1. go on the bus or get a lend off the doc for a taxi


  2. Depending on what time you'll be travelling at, a taxi would probably be easiest. Another option is to get the Luas from the station to O'Connell St, and from there get the 7 or 45 (there's probably more routes you can take, look at the link below to check) out to the embassy in Ballsbridge. The bus only costs about EUR1.40 or so each way, and the Luas is about the same, I think. Double check at the links below for the prices anyway, if this is the way you decide to go. I would estimate roughly that a taxi would cost you around EUR15. Approximately!

  3. Or ya could take the DART or the LUAS. The dart will cost you about 5 euro and the luas will prob be about 2 or 3 euro! WAY cheaper than taxis, especially in dublin!

  4. The quickest way would be a taxi.

    The American embassy is in balls bridge, If you use a bus make sure you are going to ballsbridge but i would take a taxi if i was in a hurry.
