What is the easiest way to apply eyeliner to your top lid?

I'm really good at putting it on the bottom lid, but not the top lid. I really need help, so that it won't smudge or be visible above the eye lashes. And please don't tell me to get liquid eye liner.

stretch you eyelid outward slightly but not too much, steady your elbow on a table or against the mirror and then with a rounded eyeliner ( a twisty one which is quite soft is best) gently rub it in against your lash line like you're 'coloring' :)

One way to put eyeliner on the top without it being visible or won't smudge, you can put it on the inside of your lid, just like the bottom. You can take something thin to push on the crease, if you don't want to pull on your eyelashes. I use one of my hair chopsticks.
