What is the easiest way to dig up the rock in my yard...

We are fixing our landscaping and we have rock all over the yard, a lot of it. What is the easiest way to get it out? and with what tools? Thanks

you could rent a stone grading machine, farmers use them to get stones out of the topsoil

with a pitchfork that has 4 thick short tines

For individual larger rocks you could lever out with a crowbar (assuming you don't have too many of them).

You could also hire a pneumatic breaker to reduce size/loosen.

a pitchfork is for hay for gods sake,either dig over the ground and remove the stone by hand or hire a mini excavator and dig off the top layer of soil and import a good quality topsoil no easy fix I'm afraid
