  1. I would call the Salvation Army and have them pick everything up.  Their number is: (800) 958-7825.

  2. Not so easy way: have a yard sale and donate the cash to a charity of your choice and ask the Salvation Army, Goodwill, or your local Food Bank to pick up the rest.

Otherwise, just go straight to the nonprofits.  Check out nonprofit websites in your area, often times they have a most wanted list and if you have a couple of items on that list, they will more than likely make the trip to pick up that and other things along with it.  You could also consider donating everything to a church that has an annual yard sale if you would like to go in that direction.  Transportation would most likely be more of a challenge but possible.

Make sure that you get documentation of your donation with the charity at the time of pick up, a receipt will do for now and then a formal letter with their tax id number on it for later.
