What is the easiest way to fall asleep without medication?

I am still awake, and it's almost 11, and the first day of High School is tomorrow, what can I do to help fall asleep? When I try going to sleep, I just feel my mind is racing and I feel anxious and tingly all over, I don't want to be tired or seem anxious my first day back....

  1. Listen kid, relax.

    It's no big deal, high school is a freaking breeze.

    You'll be fine, just stay away from the losers, posers, ho's, and any other people who scream BAD NEWS!

    ---Just close your eyes and dream about how you expect high school to be.  I remember my first day and it went super fine, I was a bit nervous, but it turned out alright. You'll do just fine, keep the faith.


  2. Get off the computer and start reading a book that you kinda like, but don't love enough to stay up reading all night. Reading always makes me fall asleep. Also, don't listen to music, it'll take you longer.

  3. Try counting your breaths.

    See how many you can count and then your alarm clock will be going off.

  4. Here is a list of suggestions:

    1. Take a nice hot shower, it makes you feel really cozy so its easy to fall asleep.

    2If you can, work out during the day, preferably in the morning, and the afternoon if you can squeeze it in.

    3. Don't force yourself to sleep. Go to sleep when your body is telling you that you need sleep or you will simply sit in bed for hours!

    4. My final tip to you is to relax, and in your head, I want you to review a mental list of things that you have done during the day or things that need to be done the following day! It really helps you fall asleep!

    drink a warm glass of milk before bed, or hot chocolate.

    read until you feel very sleepy.

    a massage chair supposedly makes you fall asleep.
