There is really no easy way..even telling them you are g*y may not work as many commanders don't have an issue with it.  Also, so many try to use that as a way to get out, that they tend to really investigate anyone asking out that way.  They will look at past relationships, places you go, talk to people who know you...really it is unlikely to work.  Mental health issues will get you in counseling for a good amount of time before they even consider a discharge.  If you want to get out, you can either try the direct approach with your command and see what they say or, and this is probably the best choice, simply finish your contract.  Another think to keep in mind is that even if you do get an honorable discharge, you will have to give back at least a portion, if not all (depending on how long you've served) of any signing bonus you recieved.  Even if the money is spent and gone, you will have to pay it back since you failed to complete the contract.

  3. How about not joining in the first place.  Be a man and honor your commitment.

  4. you could just stay in and finish off your commitment?  that would give you an honorable. declaring you were g*y might get you a general.

    Not that hard to get a crazy discharge, comes with honorable and keeps the benefits so you can enroll in VA counsling and things.

  13. If you rally want to quit immediately for moral reasons, go to Canada, there are some laws to protect you.
