What is the easiest way to me a bird and the easiest for the bird ?

i have a cocktiel and its 5 weeks old ans i was woundering what the easiest way to tame it woulkd be the former owner i bought it off of cliped its wings but when i try to taouch it it hisses at me and bites me but i can feed it outa my hands i was woundering what i need to do

try perch training let it out hold a perch just under chest apply slight pressure say perch up so it learns what to do on command sooner

hold perch with bird on it and offer food then try it rom perch to finger if not on you by now they usually calm down out of cage use perch to return it to the cage e-mail me if you get stuck

First of all if your cockatiel is only 5 WEEKS OLD then you need to be hand feeding it for another 3 or 4 weeks at least this will tame it up and bond it to you in simply a few feedings. As it will beg for food as long as you offer it food at this age. Go to the pet shop and buy some  KAYTEE HAND FEEDING FORMULA and read the lable on how to feed the baby or at this age it could very well starve to death not knowing what to eat.
