  1. When I hard boiled eggs, I let them cool off first, rolled them on the counter, so they cracked into little bits (The shell.) And then I ran them under a stream of COLD water. This helped with the peeling of it.

  2. make sure they are cool

  3. Once you have cracked it and rolled it on the counter take it to the sink and under a gentle stream of water peel the shell away.  The water will sort of  run between the shell membrane and the egg itself.  When you roll the egg on the counter do it gently so it holds together.  Also start from the larger rounded end rather than the pointed end, there is an air pocket at the large end and it will give you a little room to begin peeling.

  4. I just discovered this helpful hint. Add some salt while boiling the eggs. Then let them cool slightly. Then I crack the end part first and then start peeling. The shells come right off.

  5. crack and roll the egg on the counter.  This will break the eggshell into little bits so it's easier to peel off.

  6. Eggs:- Peeling

    Cool rapidly.

If you are going to mash them, cut them in half and use a teaspoon to scoop out the egg.

Crack them well and peel from the air sac end.

Older eggs will peel easier than fresh eggs.

  7. just crack but not to hard and if you have to do as hard as you can
