What is the easiest way to transfer files from 1 computer to another?

I really just want to copy photos and some small files..but to large to email.

With out costing me any money.

Can I somehow link over the internet and transfer those items?

You could use a USB pen drive, or you can send them via www.yousendit.com or upload the files on www.rapidshare.com They allow upto 200MB uploads in one go.. You can then download the files to the other computer if you have internet there.
