  1. hire a car!

the roads are fantastic, especially the 92 from seville to granada.

but they are pretty much in opposite directions.

malaga to seville is about 2 or three hours northwest.

from seville to granada is then 3 hours east.

are you starting in malaga because of the airport? if so why not fly to seville or granada?

  2. Easist way is by plane.  But a much more interesting way is to go by train.  It will probably take about 10 years but you will meet all sorts of people along the way ... Years ago I went from Barcelona to Malaga by train and the journey took 27 hours!  But I loved it.  That was their pace.

  3. You have several choices...

    By train:

Renfe has 12 trains during the day that go from Malaga to Seville. There are 2 types of train: the AVANT is the faster and more expensive one... It takes a little under 2 hours and costs 33,00€. The R-598 is a slower one that takes about 2 and a half hours and costs 17,30€. There are 6 of each the first one leaves at 6:45 am, and the last at 8:13 pm.

Then you have the buses... Alsina Graells Transport co.

These leave from the Central Bus Station (which is right next to the train station).

There are 10 per day,  and they take between 2:30 hours and 2:45 hours. The price is less than the trainfare: 15,16€

From Seville to Granada I would say your best bet is the Buslines. There are only 4 trains per day, they take aprox. 3 hours and cost 21,65€

However the bus stations in Seville do not have a good website, so I can't give you more info on the buses leaving from there...You would have to go to the stations to find out the timetables, etc.

There used to be a flight between Malaga and Seville, but it no longer exists, nor is there a line between Seville and Granada...

  4. Málaga to Sevilla is a little over an hour by train, and Sevilla to Granada is a few hours...like three or four.  Check the Renfe website for times and prices.  It IS the most interesting route.
