What states are considered the east cost in the U.S.A?

What states are considered the west cost in the U.S.A?

In addition to the above answer, many East Coast residents will further define their region: New England, Mid-Atlantic, Southern States.   I grew up in NJ which is considered Mid-Atlantic portion of the East Coast.

East coast goes from Florida up to Maine.  West coast is California, Oregon and Washington State.
