I know the Martinez Sub starts in Oakland, CA; but where does it officially end? Is it Sacramento? Roseville? Reno?

Thanks and if anybody has info (timetables) on any of the subdivisions in the SF Bay Area or elsewhere in California, please tell me. Thanks

  1. Get yourself a railfan timetable and look it up!

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1934455...

Or hit the railfan shows or eBay and get yourself a real Union Pacific timetable.

  2. sorry dunno

  3. Roseville Area Timetable #14, effective December 18, 2005, shows the Martinez Subdivision limits between 10th Street, Oakland, MP 2.2, to East Roseville, MP 106.4.  This is the most current timetable I have.

If you go to my Y!A profile page you can access my 360 and ask any questions you want there.  I have SP timetables going back to 1891 and will give ya any info I can from them.

  4. As best as I can tell, it ends in the Roseville yard.  Traffic east of Roseville becomes the Roseville Sub ( http://www.trainweb.org/intlrailfair/rvy...

I have NO information on timetables (other than the Amtrak, ACE, and Caltrain passenger trains that lease space on the UP rails) thru the bay area, but these links provide alittle more Martinez Sub info:

    http://home.comcast.net/~railfanrail/rt....

  5. I believe it ends somewhere near Antioch, or Pittsburg.
