  3. ok i have a 2 year old and he is fully potty trained what i did is put the potty in the living room find a movie or a show that he/ she really likes and put it on but only when they sit on the potty and while they are sitting on the potty watching this movie or show pump them full of liquids like water or my son really like freezies and then once they go on the potty once make a HUGE deal out of it and they will like that they are getting so much attention that they will want to do it again...........when they are this young they are scared to sit on the potty because they are unsure what to do with it you have to sit down and explain what it is for and why we use it and that only big girls/ boys use the potty...... my best suggestion is to try anything just to get them to do it once then find out what they like and bribe them to keep doing it once they are doing it all the time then work on the p**p ..... GOOD Luck !!!

  4. i have heard of some people putting regular underpants on the child with a diaper over them.  This way, the child gets to experience the uncomfortableness of being wet/soiled and mommy doesn't have to worry about messes all over the house.  Good luck

  5. Leave him alone. If it's possible let him go without anything on his bottom when he's at home and make sure he knows that he cannot go on the floor. My daughter potty-trained herself but she wasn't fully trained until about 3 1/2 but boys usually take longer. Keep him in diapers until he's trained. Don't go back and forth between diapers and underwear. Three is still on the young side for boys according to my pediatrician. (He's the one who suggested letting my daughter train herself.)
