What is the easyest metal that i can i coat a lead medallion with?

i have a low budget just need a prosedure aluminum copper and iorn are my metals that i can work with

i have considered electrolisis but need a prosidure

  1. The melting point of all the metals you have to work with are all higher than the lead medallion. You do not have the means to melt any of those metals at home , and even if you did , there would be no medalion left once the liquid metals touched it. You may want to simly coat it with a foil that is very thin. or just powder coat it.


  2. Or try silver or gold leafing.

  3. The plating of metals is highly skilled, and requires special equipment.   The chemicals can be expensive, and of course you have to have suitable premises ,as gases are given off during plating .

    It also helps if you have a good knowledge of chemistry.

    Plating requires DC voltage, and the voltage and amperage have to be correct.
