  1. since you just started, i would give the solid food to him once in the early noon. (or at least don't try new foods during the night time just in case of allergic reactions during the night time).

and then once you can tell your baby get the hang of foods then introduce it at night and then morning for breakfast.

let me see if i can still remember the schedule at 5 months:

    8AM - wake up

    9AM - bottle/nap

    11AM - solid foods

    1 or 2 (can't remember) - bottle/nap

and then introduced solid foods at 6 or 7 PM (an hour and a half before bottle)

and then in the morning 20-30min after he wakes up

  2. i started at once a day with the soild, then at about 6-7 months i started adding dinner (veggies). i usually did ceral and fruit in the morning and veggies at night before bed.

  3. LOL I just asked a similar question!!! My daughter is almost 6 months ... I feed her solids in the morning, and for supper. She usually eats about 2.5 ounces per meal.

I breastfeed her on demand ... so whenever she seems thirsty or hungry, I feed her!!!
