This one person I know said he didn't like to fight, because since he'd taken some AP course he knew the effect of one punch on the entire body. Does anyone know what effect that is...?

  1. When the body recieves a shock, adrenaline pumps out, speeding up the heart and the respiration and shutting down some areas of the brain, while activating others.  The area that has been punched sustains millions of tiny cell ruptures, and begins to bleed from capillaries and also to swell.  Once swelling begins, the kidneys add water to the blood in order to maintain blood pressure.  This water stays in the blood until the swelling goes down, and until then, impedes the body's ability to flush out toxins.  When the toxins stay in the system, digestion shuts down partially - just enough for undigested food to make its way into the bloodstream, causing even more toxicity.

  2. It depends where the punch is?

  3. i don't know but i've taken plenty of hard hits and I'm fine. i also got punched in  the face really hard by some random a*****e and was able to fight back. i think he might mean a long term effect or just be a pacifist.
