  1. Some of them withers. Die.

  2. it depends on the duration of scarcity. short time scarcity causes temporary wilting which will be cured on supply of water. but if water is not available for long time, it'll result in permanent wilting leading to death of the plant. this is because in most of the plants, the energy production involves water. but plants like aloe and other succulents have mechanism to overcome adverse conditions.

  3. Isn't it obvious? Without water, the plants cannot get hydration meaning, they will dry out and die.

  4. Water is required for any life, wihtout water any thing can't live in this earth

  5. it will surely die.water is important in their system.

  6. BEFORE they die (obviously), they wither.  Plant cells have these massive vacuoles, which kind of act like the cell's water bottle.  As the plant looses water, these vacuoles shrink, and lower the volume of the cell.

  7. plants die without water

i think u may get a doubt that if they cant survive without water then how can plants in desert are able to live

let me say u one thing...plants need water becoz they provide nutrients and minerals and also with the nutrients in the soil and help them to survive...

in deserts the plants have some materials which prevent transpiration..during transpiration water evaporates..this is stopped by some special features of plants in deserts...actually they take water from the ground.....i mean from the earth...i hope u well understand the explanation of plants in need of water

  8. They tend to wither and then die.. Plants continously lose water through the leaves and thus it is very important to replenish that loss.
