  1. Also do not bring a TV from Europe. They use a different TV system there amd it will not work in Canada.

  2. It's the same as the US. With what it will cost you to send or bring things like that to Canada, you would be better off to buy them here unless they're very small. You can often get things very cheaply in second-hand stores, at yard sales or on sale at a reguar store.

  3. The voltage is exactly the same as in the US, 110 V.

There is no need to take a water boiler with you as our drinking water supply is the safest and freshest anywhere. We are not located in the boonies where there is no drinking water.

Also, your electric stuff will not work properly, even with a converter, since it is made for 220 V.

Your appliances will run much slower than you are used to.

  4. The voltage is 120,The term 110 is not the proper voltage, but the minimum voltage required to operate are electric devises. The actual voltage coming out of the receptacles are between 116 and 119.The further away you get from the transformer the lower the voltage. The resistance in the wiring causes a voltage drop .When they call it 120 or 110 there both right.Ones the maximum and one`s the minimum.

  5. It's the same as what's used in the USA. 60 cycles/120 volts AC.

  6. Exactly the same as the USA - standard single polarity outlets are 120 volt, 60 Hz. Most of the electricity in the US northwest is generated in Canada

  7. Voltage in Canada and the United States is 110-Volts basic household and 220 for ovens and clothes driers.
