  1. Different numbers say different things but looks like anywhere from 300 kWh to 3000 kWh per capita, every year (putting it around 100 billion kWh to 1000 billion kWh). I have attached a couple of links - you can figure out which number you want to trust. I would trust the 100 billion kWh per year number - seems about right (that's around 1 kWh per person, per day, say 2x100 watts bulbs continously running for 5 hours).
