  1. whoa there! personification is giving human characteristics to non-human entities be them objects or ideas.

Making nonphysical objects physical is only called abstraction and is a much broader term than personification.

    Personification:

    My envy spoke

    Fate saw or heard

    Love touches the heart

    Abstraction:

speaking of nonphysical things as if they are things

love, hate, freedom, identity, feelings, beliefs

  2. Personification!

  3. Metaphor?

    Concretisation?

    Embodiment?

    Good question!

  4. personification

  5. The verb "to reify" (pronounced either REE-uh-fie or RAY-uh-fie) means to treat an abstraction as if it were a concrete thing.
