  1. English version = Physician Assistant.

    Yep - we have them too. It's a relatively new course...

    It's a postgrad course - so if you do not already hold a degree you will need one in a relevant subject. Check out the entry requirements and details here: http://courses.wlv.ac.uk/postGradCourse....

When i think of a physician Assistant, it makes me think of a Nurse.  They tend to be the ones who prep everything, do all the paperwork, complete a majority of the work and just get the OK from the physician/Doctor.    No different than an Executive Assistant at a different type of job.  Does most of the work, paperwork, prep work etc, and really just ends up leaving only important decisions for the Exec, and making the boss look good
