  1. just say hi ......................if you get on  follow with do you want  drink ?........................if not just move on to your group of friends

  2. Wait until eye contact is made.  Then you definitely have to at least wave.  If its someone you talk to at work, you should talk to them at the bar.  Anyone else you can get away with just acknowledgment like a wave.

  3. Just say hello politely.  You might ask if you can buy the person a drink, or he/she might offer to treat you.  People go to bars.  No big deal.

  4. If it is after work hours, and they aren't going to work drunk?

    Who cares.

If it's during lunch hour, how do you know they're drinking. And if they are 1 or 2 (I'd say no more) would be ok.

    Small town makes no difference.

  5. I would think it depends on what your work relationship is like.  If you are friendly, say hi.  If you are enemies, ignore them.  If they are totally drunk, probably you should keep that to yourself.  If you are totally drunk, you should hide.
