What is the ettiquette at B&B's if you come back to the place past midnight coz your gong to see a concert?

Should I email in advance and tell them...or wait till I get there..or say nothing.

  1. E-mail or telephone them well in advance.  The vast majority of them lock the doors at 10.30pm.


  2. Tell them in advance, they are used to people coming back late but as least they can let you know  if you ring the bell or if they give you a key!

  3. Just tell them when you check in and they will give you a key, people use B&B's all the time when they are attending functions and weddings most of which finish after midnight . . . I should think it is up to to u when u come in as long as you are respectful to the other guests and keep the noise down !!!!

  4. I'd always tell the B&B owner why you're staying there - they'll most likely be used to it. Tell them what time you'll be getting back in and they'll give you a key. The most important bit is coming in quietly - not drunk or shrieking at that time of night. Enjoy your concert.
