  1. You can't ask an oxymoron. It's not supposed to be possible.

Evolution and simple in the same paragraph... ann oxymoron.

  2. Basically that all creatures change to adapt to their environment as time goes on.

  3. Millions of years ago we started out as worms.  yada yada yada.  now we're people.

  4. These answers are pretty incomplete, and I am not going to do much better.  Essentially, evolution involves offspring of species having variations due to factors such as mutations, and then the idea that the most fit specimens survive in the long run. Eventually the species will change into a new species, if it is more able to survive.   Look up evolution in the search windows and do some reading.

  5. we started as monkeys, and then to cave people, and then BAMMM!.

    were us.

  6. A gradual process in which something changes into a different and usually more complex or better form.

    The process of developing.

Change in the genetic composition of a population during successive generations, as a result of natural selection acting on the genetic variation among individuals, and resulting in the development of new species.

  7. the theory of evolution is based off of the idea of survival of the fittest.  whoever has the most favorable traits, will be able to survive and reproduce/have kids and pass along these favorable traits. for example, giraffes at one point had short necks. but in order to eat, only the ones who could reach high trees would be able to eat, hence the ones with longer necks.  the ones with short necks died since they couldnt eat, but the ones with long necks survived since they could reach their food.  thus they were able to live and have kids in whihc they passed along these straights.  unfavorable traits (short necks) werent passed to these kids since they died off along wiht the giraffes wiht short necks.  get it?! haha

  8. The theory of evolution is the idea that a species changes over time.

I'm pretty sure it was originally introduced by Charles Darwin; I know he did most of the preliminary work on the theory.  Species evolve through natural selection, which happens when an offspring is mutated (genetically different) in some way from the parents and the mutation helps it better survive in its environment, therefore favoring the offspring over other members of its species to live and produce more offspring.

Sorry, I know that's kinda confusing, but it might help you a bit more so I threw it in. =)

    Good luck!!
