  1. purpose=reproduction,  the more intelligent animals do have a crude form of crush which is really just a sudden and strong passion for coupling with another individual


  2. a crush useually makes a person start to emulate anothers behaviour.

    if we say that a marriage of two people 'performing at top level equally' is the most powerfull position to be in.

    hopefully your crushes will teach you to step back and not become so imersed in another- that you lose who you are.

  3. Even evolutionists will say that evolution has no real 'purpose.' Creationists will say that love is one of the things that God hardwired into our brains. Other animals exhibit behavior that may be inferred as love. I am a creationist, so I believe that emotions come from God.
