I have not yet gone to college, so I would like to know what courses I need to take now and after that to later become certified. I am learning Russian and would like to move on into other languages also.

  1. May be this site can help you

  2. you are talking about a liberal Arts degree.  These degrees largely depend upon the schools and can vary widely.  Technical degrees or the hard sciences are pretty much the same at any school.  Learning Russian is a good start.  Being and interpreter requires LOTS of training.  learning a laguage is one thing but learning the coloquial meaning takes constant study-even after school.  Language is a dynamic in form.  Just look at all the countries that speak spanish, just changing one word or inflection will change th meaning.

Go to any school that teaches "Lanuage Arts", Linguistics, Classics, etc.  some schools actually major in a specific language.  The university of MD has majors in spanish, english, russian, french, greek, and others.

Pick a school near international businesses.  Learn the language by going to work for one of those companies.  I would suggest ARABIC and continue to learn Russian.  The relationship between Arabic and russian will continue to grow.  While Japaneese was popular 20 years ago, China is the emerging market today.

Another study would be international bussines law.  These people makke big bucks.  What ever school you decide, go seek a councelor.

  3. I don't know but you should learn to spell first.

  4. All you need is fluency in the language.  If you go to college, major in Russian language.  If you do not already speak it or if you have not lived around it a lot, you will find that while reading, speaking and writing are easy, it is much more difficult to understand native speakers.
