    http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic

1 US Dollar = 2.98970 Peruvian Nuevo Sol

1 Peruvian Nuevo Sol (PEN) = 0.33448 US Dollar (USD)

    Interbank rate +/- 0%

    This means:

You buy 1 US Dollar :     2.98970 Peruvian Nuevo Sol

You sell 1 US Dollar :     2.88210 Peruvian Nuevo Sol

You buy 1 Peruvian Nuevo Sol :     0.33448 US Dollar

You sell 1 Peruvian Nuevo Sol :     0.34697 US Dollar

    Median price = 2.88210 / 2.98970 (bid/ask)

    Minimum price = 2.88210 / 2.98970

    Maximum price = 2.88210 / 2.98970

  2. It varies from day to day, but generally around 2.9 or 3.00.

    Go to:

    www.sunat.gob.pe

and look for "tipo de cambio" at the left column

    or enter:

    www.bn.com.pe

the tipo de cambio is at the end of the right column. Today's is:

    Compra:     S/.2.8800

    Venta:        S/.2.9700

    Impuestos: S/.2.9340

    Pasaporte: S/.2.9340

Those 2 links I put up are the "officlal" rates, commercial banks have their own rates but are generally close to the official rates.

Commercial stores, stick to their own rates aswell.

And there are also the "cambistas" street vendors with a calculator in hand acting as exchange agencies (yeap, we're quite peculliar) they have the best rates but you should be carefull with them.

    Hope this helped.

  3. I went there last summer!

Airport places are a rip and give you 2.7 soles to the us dollartg but markets will take us $ for 3 soles so only cash a little soles then i would use us $  most!
