What is the expences of trip to shreenagar??

Well, I checked in many travel sites, but there is no proper information, I hope you people help me out in this??

Me and my hubby planning for a trip to Kashmir. What would be the expenses of 5 days 4 nights Trip by Air from Mumbai (India) to Kashmir(Including to and fro,food & accommodation)

also pls tell me if u know which is gr8 place to visit from below and what would be the expense's of to and fro,food & accommodation and of course We will be going from mumbai.

Kashmir just now is very troubled. There are some protests and problems. Jammu is blocking trucks going that way with essentials.

So it is not a good time to visit Srinagar at all.

If you still go, visit all the Mughal Gardens. Take a tour. Then Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonmarg , Source of R. Jhelum.

If you are a Hindu:

The Shiva Temple, Shankaracharya , on top of the Hill in Srinagar, the Devi Temple of Kheer Bhavani where you cannot go after eating meat/ non veg...  Must take a bath and not take eggs or any non veg before a visit there. They say, the Spring water turns red in anger!

The Govt Tourist office will guide you. Go with their coaches everywhere. Is so much safer and easier.

Food is just fab. Try the "Goshtaba" and Rogan Josh if you are a non veg.

Look at hotels on the Net. They are all very touristy and helpful as that is their source of income. Boat houses are very interesting. But take care of water. lacks Hygiene.

You can see the Lakes Wular, Dal, Nagin etc. Take Shikara rides. Be careful.
