Say you bought a cellular phone here in the states and took it with you to another country; Is it considered long distance to call back to the states even if you purchased it there? It seemed to me that if it was bought here then a local call would not be considered long distance even if you were physically far away.

  1. Long distance charges have nothing to do with where you bought the phone!!!!!

By the way, what's this got to do with LAND PHONES?

  2. that is like saying you have local service at your parents house in new jersey, then calling from california and wondering why you have a roaming fee! cmon!
