  1. moon

  2. To our own moon, and no further.

  3. Two possibilities.

    1. Anyone who has orbited the Moon when it happened to be at apogee (farthest point from Earth). If there have been two or more such lunar missions, then whichever orbited at the highest distance from the Moon's surface.

    2. "The farthest that man has travelled in space" could be cumulative, i.e. whichever American astronaut or Russian cosmonaut has made most orbits in one of the space stations. That would be the farthest distance covered, even if he was - literally - going round in circles.

  4. Well here's the thing. As far as we know or are told, it would be the far side of the moon. If we are to believe what has been historically reported as truth, that man actually went to the Moon in 1969+.

However, this does not account for those abducted by ALIENS.

They or even other Government dark agencies, kept quiet for the usual reasons of "National Security" or "TRUTH! We can't handle the truth!"; could have been anywhere in their experimental/back engineered/shot down/captured ALIEN space craft that we know they DO HAVE.

So, your guess is as good as anyone else's.

    Steve

  5. The far side of the moon...

  6. The farthest man/woman him or herself has traveled is to the moon, which is 238 855 miles or 384 400km away from earth.

  7. That someone from Americal nearly, not as far as you think.

  8. That would be the crew of Apollo 13. They went a little further beyond the moon than the other Apollo crews since they just whipped around it to come back home and didn't slow down to orbit it. About 245,000 miles.

  9. The other side of the moon...

When landing on the moon you need to orbit the moon. the height of the orbit from the other side of the moon is the furthest distance.
